I am not sure how I feel about these gluten free Keto Crackers by Innofoods. I am used to crackers being salty or savory, but these crackers have a sweetness to them I am not sure belongs in a cracker.
I do like the crunch from the seeds. They contain pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, hemp seeds, and almonds. They also contain coconut which is where I am finding the sweetness to be overpowering. I think I would like them better without the coconut. For me, coconut is best served in desserts or pina colodas.
They boast about 4g of net carbs per serving. I am not sure what that means but I think it is important to the keto diet. They are high in fat (probably from the nuts and seeds and the coconut oil. 7g of fat for 5 crackers doesn’t seem like a high number, but if you factor in the size of the cracker and how many you would actually eat at one time, the fat content could really add up. They are 100 calories per serving, 0g of sugar, 3g of protein, and 2 g of fibre. They are also organic and non GMO with no artificial flavours or colours.
I like to eat crackers with cheese and dips or even by themselves but I am not sure what I would pair these crackers with (maybe cream cheese would cut through the sweetness). I won’t be buying them. I have several preferred brands of gluten free crackers that I will stick with.
If you are a huge coconut fan or doing a keto diet, you may want to try them out.
