Since childhood, I have loved Oreo cookies. I was so excited a few months ago when I found out Mr. Christie had finally developed a gluten free version of the delicious cream-filled cookie. I had been checking my grocery store for the last few months in hopes they would show up on the shelves. Finally, there they were, I could hardly wait to get home and try them.

I was disappointed! The cookie had a normal texture to it, but left a bitter aftertaste. The cream filling was oily and left my mouth with an oily film in it. Although I managed to eat them (I didn’t want to waste them), I would not buy them again. There are other gluten free companies that make a knock-off version I prefer over these.

Sorry Mr. Christie, this time you did not make good cookies.
