Innifoods has reinvented the world of dehydrated mashed potatoes. Let’s face it, when you are out at a restaurant and have mashed potatoes, you can tell if they are fresh or packaged, right? I know I can, even so, the idea of mashed potatoes in a package has always intrigued me. If I can have delicious mashed potatoes in seven minutes rather than all the work of making them fresh, why wouldn’t I give them a try?

On my last trip to Costco, I saw a box called “Just Real Spuds”. I was still skeptical because the thought of dehydrated potatoes was off-putting. Then I saw they were gluten free. I thought what the heck, I will give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised by how much they tasted like fresh mashed potatoes. I can slightly tell the difference, but for the time I save, that difference is not worth mentioning. The box came with 14 bags, each bag makes 8 servings.
