Nescafé Gold Cappuccino and Latte mixes. When I get a craving for a cappuccino or Latte and I don’t feel like brewing my own or going to a coffee shop, I reach for Nescafé Gold Cappuccino or Latte mix. I add a bit of cinnamon to mine. If I have the Cappuccino mix, I add a splash of milk.
You may question whether or not this product is gluten free? I hope the following information is helpful to you.
I emailed the manufacturer and this is the correspondence I received back:
Thank you for your inquiry. I am happy to assist.
We’re always striving to meet the needs of our diverse fan base. We know that gluten is increasingly being asked about.
Gluten is a protein naturally present in grains such as wheat, rye, barley, triticale, and oat. Canadian labeling regulations require these sources of gluten to be declared by the grain name in the ingredient list (if it’s part of the product) or in the May Contains statement (if there is a chance for cross-contamination) on a product label. If the above grains are not listed, the product does not contain gluten.
I have checked both the Nescafe Gold Cappucino and the Vanilla Latte Flavoured Coffee Mix sachets as seen on our website https://www.madewithnestle.ca/nescaf%C3%A9 and did not see these ingredients containing gluten listed. Nevertheless, we strongly encourage those concerned with gluten in any of our products to read the ingredient list carefully before making a purchase, as the information on the package is the most up-to-date and speak to your healthcare professional with any questions.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you require further assistance.
