I have to be honest, I expected to hate this to the point where I wouldn’t finish eating it. I did finish it. I didn’t love it, but I ate it. I’m not a huge fan of sausage in pasta sauce, to begin with, so the idea of it in my lasagna was off-putting. 

I have a friend who is Italian and makes her pasta sauce with sausage. Knowing that it isn’t uncommon to do that in Italian cooking tells me there are people out there who will like it. It’s just not my cup of tea.
