This Stir-fry and Marinade from San-J is gluten free and Non GMO. It has been years since I have had the sweet savoury taste of teriyaki. Most store-bought sauces contain wheat. I found this in the organic section and I had to give it a try. I had some zucchini and cremini mushrooms in my fridge that needed to be cooked so I decided to give it a try. I was delighted with the results. I made enough for multiple servings but ended up eating all of it in one sitting. I am looking forward to using it as a marinade for chicken. I’m thinking shishkabobs would be tasty. Although I don’t eat seafood, I can see where this would be a great marinade for certain types of fish as well. It’s a good condiment to keep on hand in the fridge. I think it would also add value to asian soups and dumplings. I’m excited to try it in different ways.
San-J also has Tamari, Shoyu, Thai Peanut, Szechuan, Sweet and Tangy, Asian BBQ, Orange Sauce, Mongolian, Hoisin, and Korean BBQ (all gluten free). They have 2 soup mixes, White Miso, and Wakame, as well as a line of gluten free brown rice crackers.
