What’s on My Plate?

Breakfast today was a delight! Fresh fruit (pineapple, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, and blueberries. It is wonderful how one of nature’s naturally gluten free gifts is sweet, full of flavour, and packed with nutrients. One of my favourite things about living in the Niagara Region is the fresh fruit. This unique area of Ontario has a longer growing season, than most of the province. You can drive down any country road in the summer and buy fresh, ripened, juicy fruit right off the farmers stand. The peaches are my favourite. There is nothing like a fresh peach, picked that morning, right off the tree. You can’t put a price on that, but you can pay a price for unripened fruit in your local grocery store!

Back to my breakfast. On top of my fruit was a large scoop of IÖGO immuniti-T vanilla lactose free yogurt. Delicious!  Home – IÖGO (iogo.ca)

In case you missed my post regarding IÖGO not containing gluten, this is what the company had to say.

Although our facilities are not certified as gluten-free, Iögo products do not contain any ingredients derived from gluten. Products containing gluten are labelled accordingly.”
